Title: Development of systems for screening pharmaceutical compounds and medical diagnosis using peptides

Date: February 21 (Wed)  11:50 ~ 12:20

Venue: Exhibitor Presentation Venue Q (Hall 1, INTEX OSAKA)
Outlines/Features of Research
I will give a talk about our development of microarrays and systems for medical diagnosis, screening of pharmaceutical agents, analysis of allergic sensitization using artificial peptides (small proteins). I will show advantages and characteristics of our systems using the peptides with chromophores for detection and linkers for immobilization.
Expected Applications
Our systems could be applied to robust devises for detection, analysis, diagnosis and measurement in medical engineering fields. Additionally, the systems would be promising tools for development and/or production of pharmaceutical agents using proteins and peptides.
